companies to completely redesign their web site. For this proposal I wrote
sections 3.4-3.5, the Visio Diagram, contributed to all appendixes, and
was responsible for layout, editing, and final approval of document.

- The VDOT proposal made us one of six companies called in to present our proposal
in person. Together we scripted and delivered a 60-minute presentation
to detail our solution and take questions from the VDOT team.

- This was my first experience with Business Plan writing. This plan provided
an overview of the company history and the company's future. As Director
of Marketing for Waygate, my job was to explain our sales approach and
strategy. This required in-depth research into our competitors, defining
the strengths and weaknesses we would experience in the market, sales
forecasts, and market trends. Helped produce graphs from excel to illustrate
marketing milestones and budget planning.

Ramada New Carrollton Proposal

- Wrote and edited a proposal to showcase site design packages for hotel chains.
This proposal successfully sold the Ramada Inn at New Carrolton a web-site
package on a subscription basis. The document presented here was the second-tier
of four levels of site-design.

Transuranic Waste Management Project

- I was one of ten emergency hires as a copy-editor for a proposal that was
twelve hours past its deadline. The project lasted one and a half weeks,
working 12-hour shifts and drinking 50+ cups of coffee. Read copyediting
marks and implemented changes accordingly. Was given project management
responsibilities halfway through project due to my dedication and solid
work. The project was a failure, but I thoroughly enjoyed the intense
atmosphere of a crisis situation.

Stripping Characters from a Text String

- I am published at the JavaScriptSource.com for a compact and easily modifyable
script I wrote to strip any characters from a text-string by changing
one line of code. The popularity of this script has prompted web-designers
all over the world to contact me for advice on their DHTML and JavaScript
coding.
